Why Moodle 2.5?

NPC plans to upgrade its Moodle Learning Management System from 1.9x to 2.5. This upgrade is critical because 1.9x will no longer be supported by Moodle and the 2.x will be a core change both in features and user interface. New features/improvements include:
  • Conditional Activities enable teachers to restrict the availability of any activity according to certain conditions such as dates, grade obtained, or activity completion.
  • Drag and Drop Upload makes file upload quick and easy.
  • Repository Support provides many repository integrations. With the repository plug-ins you can add content from Flickr, Dropbox, Google Docs, and many others, to your Moodle course in just a few clicks.
  • A new HTML Editor is compatible with Safari, Chrome, and more accommodating of content pasted in from Word.
  • Quiz Interface Improvements provide learners with a simplified quiz interface, improved navigation, the ability to flag questions, and helpful summary pages.
  • And much more!
